Key Features:
At the heart of the ATER switch's design is its alarm-duty, mechanically-activated, narrow-angle switch mechanism. This feature is tailored for low amp alarms and relay controls, ensuring that the switch operates efficiently without requiring high amperage.
The ATER switch is compatible with both 115 and 230 VAC systems, providing flexibility in its application across various electrical systems. This versatility is further enhanced by its design for narrow-angle operation, making it an ideal solution for installations where precise control over pump activation and deactivation is necessary.
Equipped with variable cord lengths, the ATER switch offers ample length for easy installation in a variety of settings. The cord is constructed with a 16 AWG gauge, ensuring durability and reliability over time. The choice of cord gauge reflects a balance between flexibility and the capacity to transmit electrical signals efficiently without loss.
The switch operates on a normally open basis, making it suitable for systems that require the switch to initiate an alarm or activate a relay when a certain condition is met, such as a specific water level. This functionality is crucial for applications where monitoring and control are critical to the system's operation.
Furthermore, the ATER switch boasts an IP68 rating, indicating its exceptional ability to resist dust, dirt, and sand, as well as being protected against long periods of immersion under pressure. This high level of protection ensures that the switch can perform reliably in challenging environments, where exposure to water and other elements could compromise the functionality of lesser devices.
In summary, the ATER alarm-duty narrow-angle mechanical pump switch represents a significant advancement in pump control technology, offering unmatched versatility, durability, and reliability for alarm and relay control applications. Its design and specifications make it a superior choice for professionals seeking an effective solution to manage their systems in both calm and turbulent conditions.
